Buy Plastic Hammer stuff!

That's it, I've had it with this money grabbing, uptight, bullshit art site. I'm out of here, but before I do, I want to explain my reason as to why. I logged on to a note from the administrators saying that a whole list of my deviations have been deleted because of "copyright" issues. Sounds reasonable right?

WRONG.

There's a whole bunch of reasons why this is absolutely, pure bullshit. Wanna hear them? With pleasure.

First off, one of the deviations they deleted was Plastic Hammer 2. Now, Plastic Hammer 3, I could understand, as there is a picture of the actual Nike logo and a picture of Michael Jackson that I had used. Where on earth in Plastic Hammer 2 did I breach copyright? I'll tell you where... Nowhere. Unless you count the Coca-cola can that I drew, but even then, dA deleted it because I "edited material not created or drawn by myself".

Secondly, DA WEED MUSHROOM and Asshole Attorney were kept up. Oh now, they're FAR more original edits than Plastic Hammer 2, aren't they dA!?

Thirdly, I seem to recall that there's an option to allow us to post our wallpapers up on dA. Let's take a little survey here... how many people here have wallpapers that have original art? Hmmm? I dare say there are a few, but alot of people don't.

Lastly, this is CLASSIC considering that a certain art site (did I mention dA?) asks us member if we want to make prints of our own work and gives us 10% of the costs. Ok, fair enough dA print the things, they should get a percentage, but 90%!? Can someone give me the cost of ink and paper and then divide that price by about 50?? Yet you get pissy about a picture that I've worked on? Sure it's made by another company but I'm not making money out of them. You, dA, on the other hand, are.

So I've had it. I've said it before and I'll say it again: fuck you dA, and I hope I bring other members with me on this. Go to Sheezy Art, it's not run by people with sticks up their ass.
